 Prisoner again sues City of Bartow, Fla.; says police had no arrest authority

Early last year, a circuit judge threw out a prison inmate's lawsuit against the city of Bartow, Fla., ruling that the inmate failed to follow legal procedures in notifying the city of the litigation. Now the city is back in court facing the same allegations. Romerio Walker, an inmate of Gulf Correctional Institution in Wewahitchka, has filed an amended lawsuit listing the same allegations as before. more
