Flu season etiquette: What you need to know about sickness and the office
Employees who work in close quarters are particularly susceptible to the flu. The CDC says people with the flu can spread it to others up to about six feet away, mainly by droplets made when they cough, sneeze or talk. A person can also get the flu by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it, and then touching their own mouth or nose. The good news is, there are steps you can take at work to help reduce your chances of getting (or spreading) the flu.
