University of Rochester Got $347 Million in Research Awards in 2012
from Democrat & Chronicle
While University of Rochester officials say a new report on technology commercialization at the school details a valuable community asset, some new thinking may be necessary to cope with limited federal research funding. In 2010 and 2011, the school got $461 million and $415 million, respectively — thanks to additional money from the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. In 2012, the university received 455 research grants worth a total of $347 million.
