Low melatonin may increase risk of Type 2 diabetes

A hormone best known for its role in helping people sleep may play a part in someone's risk of developing Type 2 diabetes, based on a new study. The research shows that people who have low levels of melatonin while they're sleeping are at a greater risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.
