National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Vice Chairman Christopher A. Hart has been invited to speak on Sunday morning, Oct. 20, at a joint NASDPTS/NAPT session at this years' NAPT Summit. He held a previous term at the NTSB and has served at the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. He is expected to discuss recent investigation results.
Emmy-nominated writer and historian Daniel Blake Smith will present a screening of the film, "Impact: After the Crash." This reenactment of the catastrophic May 14, 1988, Carrollton, Ky., incident shares inspirational stories of survivors during this 25th anniversary year. You won't want to miss this Sunday morning opening session, co-presented with NASDPTS.
A rare virus sidelined Victoria Arlen when she was 11 years old, leaving her partially paralyzed but 100 percent determined not to be defined by disability. Now a member of the U. S. Paralympic swimming team, she has earned a gold medal, three silvers and a world-record in the women's 200 freestyle. Her presentation is brought to you by Q'Straint and NAPT.
John Parry, a 13-year NFL referee, has officiated nine playoff games, including an NFC Championship and Super Bowls XLI and XLVI. After 18 years flying corporate jets, he also built a successful financial services business. Parry will share lessons learned across multiple fronts on Tuesday morning, Oct. 22.
