Oviedo ER expected to open in November

With construction well underway, a planned emergency room facility in Oviedo is becoming a reality — a reality that officials said will be ready for patients in early November. The Oviedo ER, an 11,000-square-foot facility offering 24/7 adult and pediatric emergency care, will be part of Central Florida Regional Hospital. The ER will include 12 patient care beds, a trauma room, diagnostic imaging, such as CT scans, ultrasounds and X-rays, and lab services. But most importantly, Oviedo Mayor Dominic Persampiere said, it will fill a void for East Seminole County residents. more
