New York K-9 finds drugs 1st day on duty

In Delaware County, N.Y., Ozzie — a new drug-detecting German shepherd — earned his keep on his first day on the job by leading lawmen to two packets of heroin secreted in a car, authorities said. The drug stash probably would have gone undetected without Ozzie, Undersheriff Craig DuMond said.
