Careful planning helped TASK deliver an award winning library
from Journal of Commerce
When the $12.6 million Vernon branch of the Okanagan Regional Library (ORL) was being planned, cost was critical. "The biggest issue was trying to provide the program that the client wanted for the budget established," said John Hiebert, project manager and former owner of Task Construction Management, which undertook the project. What ORL received was an architecturally striking facility that reflected local values and would accommodate increased and diverse users from children to seniors.
