New oil change invoice requirements for shops
from Tire Review
Your customer invoices might have to list the engine oil type, brand and other related information, according to a new recommendation by the U.S. Commerce Department's National Institute of Standards and Technology and the National Conference of Weights and Measures. These recommendations became effective July 1 for states that approve, and are outlined in a section known as the Uniform Regulation for the Method of Sale of Commodities. But, it is still not clear how these recommendations will be enforced.
