Austin-Travis County Flood Relief Fund established

from Texas Builders Foundation

Areas of Austin and Travis County were devastated as the result of flooding that occurred on Oct. 31, 2013. Almost 1,400 homes were affected, 12 are uninhabitable, and 531 have been tagged as unsafe or dangerous. State Representatives Paul Workman and Eddie Rodriguez are spearheading an effort to provide assistance and information to the citizens in the affected areas. The Home Builders Association of Greater Austin, the Texas Association of Builders, and the Texas Builders Foundation are honored to support the rebuilding effort. 100 percent of your tax deductible donation to the "Austin-Travis County Flood Relief Fund" through the Texas Builders Foundation will be used to help those who were affected by the flood. Donations may be converted into gift cards that will help families purchase building materials and other goods that are necessary to help them recover from the disaster.
