New York grants help law enforcement with recorded interrogations

New York will provide nearly $700,000 in grants to local law enforcement agencies to purchase or upgrade video recording equipment for interrogations, Gov. Andrew Cuomo has announced. "With these grants, New York is giving local law enforcement the resources they need to enhance the integrity, fairness and effectiveness of our criminal justice system," Cuomo said in a news release.
