Programs to curb hospital wait times have had little effect on five key trouble spots said a physicians group as it issued a report saying "progress has stalled" for Canada's health care system. "Not only has there been no progress over the last year in wait times in any of the five priority areas," said Dr. Chris Simpson, a Kingston, ON, cardiologist and chair of the Wait Time Alliance, "in many instances Canadians are waiting longer now than they were two years ago."
