Obama signs Small Airplane Revitalization Act
from The Wichita Eagle
The general aviation industry is applauding the Small Airplane Revitalization Act, which was signed by President Barack Obama. U.S. Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Wichita, sponsored the bill, which requires the Federal Aviation Administration to implement the recommendations of the FAA's Part 23 Reorganization Aviation Rulemaking Committee by the end of 2015. The recommendations focus on increasing safety and reducing government and industry certification costs for light general aviation airplanes.
