KU-Wichita ranks 6th nationally for producing primary care physicians

The University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita ranks sixth nationally for the percentage of its residents who go into primary care. An article in Washington Monthly magazine looked at residency programs with at least 200 medical graduates from 2006 to 2008 to determine how many graduates were in primary care three to five years after completing their residencies.
