FMCSA Bus Safety Roundtable update
The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration held a Bus Safety Roundtable on Dec. 6, 2013. They asked organizations with an interest in the safe transportation of students and youth to participate in an important discussion that focused on how you can help your members make safety the primary consideration when chartering a bus or booking bus travel.
NAPT Region 2 Director, Barry Sudduth, attended the meeting and provided a summary of the results to the NAPT membership in mid-December. NAPT is pleased to provide some additional information as a follow-up to the FMCSA Roundtable.
