Nebraska High school athletes who transfer could face more sideline time
from The Omaha World Herald
High school athletes in Nebraska might think twice before switching schools if lawmakers approve a bill up for hearing. Under the bill, athletes who transferred after May 1, without changing residence, would be ineligible to participate in varsity sports for 180 school days. That would eliminate them from competition for a whole school year.
