Newfoundland and Labrador establishes child death review committee
from The Prince George Citizen
The government of Newfoundland and Labrador has appointed eight people to serve on its first child death review committee. The establishment of the committee follows a recommendation from a September 2006 review into the death of Zachary Turner, who was drowned by his mother in a murder-suicide. The review concluded the 13-month-old boy should not have been in her care at the time.
