Tuesday Plenary Keynotes preview the future of telehealth
Tuesday's Keynote was headlined by both Jonathan Woodson, M.D., Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, and Yulun Wang, Ph.D., ATA President-Elect, took center stage offering their take on the future of telemedicine.

Dr. Woodson focused on how telehealth provides both a promise and opportunity for the U.S. military. He said we are, "...in the middle of a revolution of how we deliver healthcare." He previewed what's to come for the troops in terms of telehealth technology which included ways to deliver care to the world's harshest and most remote areas. He strongly believes that the global health mission can be achieved through the practice of telemedicine.
ATA's President-Elect, Yulun Wang, Ph.D., immediately followed. He provided attendees his take on the industry's year ahead. His mission of positivity and hope reflected his personal driving forces for serving ATA for the past 10 years. "Telemedicine is at an inflection point...we must solve our healthcare imperative," he said.
He ensured during his tenure the progress towards widespread telemedicine adoption will continue and he will work together with ATA and its members to enhance the practice and its implementation.
"As the largest and No. 1 telemedicine association, we will make sure the legacy continues," Dr. Wang concluded. more
