Dear National Association for Bilingual Education

The Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, the nation's highest honor for teachers of mathematics and science (including computer science), has opened its 2014–2015 nomination period for secondary (7-12 grade) teachers. PAEMST is awarded annually to exceptional K-12 educators throughout the nation, alternating each year between K-6 and 7-12 grades. Being recognized as a PAEMST awardee is a tremendous honor. Winners will gather in Washington, D.C., for a series of events as tribute to their accomplishments, will receive a certificate signed by the President and will receive a $10,000 award from the National Science Foundation. We hope that you will help by sharing information about the award with your members and encouraging them to nominate a teacher. The 2014-2015 nomination deadline is April 1, 2015, and the application deadline is May 1, 2015, so consider nominating a talented teacher using the PAEMST website today!
