Balance therapy helps Parkinson's patient
from Aberdeen News
Two falls down stairs, one resulting in broken toes, led to Bob Uttermark's Parkinson's diagnoses two-and-a-half years ago. Because of Parkinson's disease, Uttermark was experiencing tremors, leading his doctor to refer him to a neurologist. He was put on medication to help slow the progression of the disease. Earlier this year, Uttermark's neurologist recommended balance therapy in addition to the medication he was taking.
