US designates 35 hospitals as Ebola centers
from USA Today
State health officials have designated 35 U.S. hospitals as Ebola treatment centers, a move that will at least triple the number of beds available to treat future patients. The hospitals are mostly clustered around the five airports where travelers from West Africa are being routed. About 80 percent of returning travelers from West Africa live within 200 miles of one of the hospitals, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
