Halloween is here and as exciting as it can be, for little children it can be overwhelming and scary. Developmentally, young children are just learning to distinguish between reality and fantasy, so it's very normal for them to be frightened during Halloween. Although all children react in their own unique way, there are similarities to their interpretation based on their dominant sense. Use this to anticipate what will scare them, and how to be prepared to alleviate their fears, quickly and constructively.
