Calgarians mourn passing of local philanthropist, influential architect and 'titan of urban ideas'

One of Calgary's most influential architects and proponent of urban design died recently, sparking condolences and tributes from family, friends and local politicians. Peter Burgener, an award-winning Calgary architect and founding partner of BKDI Architects, died after a long battle with cancer.
