Marshfield, Oregon, welders embark on Washed Ashore jellyfish project
from The World
Two giant jellyfish are forming on the bottom floor of Marshfield (Oregon) High. It's Washed Ashore's newest project, partnering with the Pirate welding students to create two steel structures which will transform into jellyfish for the nonprofit. Once the students' job is done, the jellyfish will be loaded with marine debris and plastic — another installation in Angela Haseltine Pozzi's art which aims to raise awareness and educate the public about ocean pollution.
