Texas House District 13 candidates ready to talk water conservation
from Victoria Advocate
Public education, water conservation and budgetary responsibility are among the top priorities for candidates hoping to be elected to the Texas House District 13 seat in January. Candidates are Republicans Becky Berger, a geologist of Schulenburg; Carolyn Cerny Bilski, Austin County judge of Sealy; Leighton Schubert, an attorney of Caldwell; and Democrat Cecil R. Webster Sr., a retiree of Carmine. The four hope to succeed Lois Kolkhorst, who resigned from the post after being elected to the Texas Senate in December.
