Turkey's 10th Development Plan includes $16 billion for hydroelectric power
The Turkish government has allocated $16 billion to developing the country's hydroelectric power sector through 2018, per Turkey's recently announced 10th Development Plan. The country's state press service, Anadolu Agency, said the $50 billion plan is intended to diversify the country's power generating portfolio, with allocations for nuclear, coal and natural gas facilities also included.
