Who should advertise on New Jersey school buses?
A somewhat overlooked law in New Jersey has the potential to provide needed revenue to state schools. More and more New Jersey school districts are allowing advertising on their school buses. Gov. Christie signed the law into effect two years ago. "People are in line with looking to advertise on a bus because our bus travels through a multitude of communities," said Jackson School District Superintendent Stephen Genco. According to CBS New York, Genco said Jackson has earned $20,000 from school bus advertising in the past seven or eight months, "and we haven't really been all that aggressive."
