Out-of-state population growth driving new home sales in San Antonio
from San Antonio Business Journal
Wondering why so many out-of-staters are looking to plant roots in San Antonio? The latest Texas Homebuyers and Sellers report may provide a few clues. The Texas Association of Realtors released the 2015 report, which showed not only that the state leads in median household income growth, but also in new home sales. Between July 2013 and June 2014, Texas homebuyers' median household income increased by nearly 6 percent year-over-year to $97,500, nearly four times the national increase of 1.4 percent.
