Human remains found near Cushing Identified as man missing since 2004
The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Rangers have received identification from human remains that were found north of Cushing on March 13. Sheriff deputies received a call that a person looking for a pet in the woods had found a bone that was believed to be human remains. Sheriff Deputies responded to the scene and took custody of the bone which was later identified as Human. Sheriff investigators, along with the Texas Rangers, conducted a search for several days of the area where more remains were collected.
