Lowcountry-born Google computer science curriculum spreads globally
from Palmetto Business Daily
Google's CS First program originally started off in the Lowcountry of South Carolina before it rapidly spread around the world, with its curriculum's reach recently passing the 50,000-student mark, Google said. Google's own program managers and teaching fellows created the computer science curriculum. These company leaders used music, video games, fashion and dancing to teach students the basics of interfacing and coding through a computer at a programming level.
