Greek Crisis Causes Rift In Drug Industry
An appeal by European drugmakers for protection against trade disruption if Greece leaves the eurozone has provoked a rift within the industry, with wholesalers accusing manufacturers of crying wolf about drug shortages. It started when the main drug company lobbying group asked Vytenis Andriukaitis, the European commissioner for health, to act in defense of public health, in Greece and across Europe, to prevent fall-out from a potential Grexit.
