How Campus Intramural Programs Contribute to Student Retention
Campus recreation programs provide opportunities for students to participate in activities outside the classroom. These programs offer recreational activities in a variety of settings. Studies have provided evidence that campus recreational centers tend to have positive effects on student retention, satisfaction, and recruitment. Retention and completion rates are essential benchmarks in determining student success. This session is designed to discuss the correlation between campus intramural programs and student retention rates and utilizing institutional data to provide more evidence. This webinar is presented by ACPA Commission for Recreation and Athletics and NIRSA: Leaders in College Recreation. Register today here!
