Forest school lets kids go wild
from The Chronicle Herald
The unmistakable signs of unleashed and uncurbed dogs near the entrance to the Kearney Lake Trails aren't the symbols of the natural world the Wild Child Forest School is looking for. Luckily, the leaders of this group of 10 "very busy" three-year olds are hawk-eyed, both for things to avoid stepping in and for wandering children. Soon, everyone has been given a safety vest, a whistle and a trip to the bathroom, and it's time for this multi-coloured collection of bright rubber boots to head into the woods.
