Ovarian tissue transplants maintain fertility in cancer survivors

Cryopreservation and transplantation of ovarian tissue in female cancer survivors is an effective and safe way to maintain fertility, Danish scientists said. Ten of 32 women trying to get pregnant after the procedure succeeded in having children, said lead investigator Annette Jensen, Ph.D., of the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, and colleagues.
