Oregon man accused of threatening president, ditching GPS monitor arrested in Idaho

An Oregon man who cut off his electronic monitoring device and disappeared after authorities say he threatened the president is back in custody. Stephen Gene Smith was booked into the Ada County Jail in Boise, officials confirmed. He is scheduled to appear in federal court in Boise, according to the Idaho Statesman. It wasn't immediately clear where he was arrested or by which agency.
