Schoology, a classroom management software company that originated in a Washington University in St. Louis entrepreneurship course, has signed a $6 million contract with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Under the agreement, the school district — the second largest in the country — will launch a two-year pilot program that will test an online grade book and Schoology's learning management system, with the goal of going districtwide should the program prove successful. more
