Wastewater treatment plant breaks ground
from Petrolia Topic
As one major infrastructure project is coming to a close, another Petrolia project kicked off recently, with the ground breaking on a wastewater treatment plant expansion. "This is a great day for the Town of Petrolia," said Mayor John McCharles, dubbing the project the largest ever undertaken in the town's history. The expansion and upgrade to the current facilities was initially pegged at costing an estimated $21 million, though Stone Town Construction won the contract with a bid of $18,945,000.
