Dustin Moskovitz start-up Asana hires 1st diversity chief
from USA Today
Asana, the high-profile start-up from Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz, has hired its first diversity and inclusion chief, making it one of the smallest — if not the smallest — tech company to do so. The hire of Sonja Gittens-Ottley, who hails from Facebook, where she was the global diversity program manager, underscores the commitment Asana has made to building a workplace that is "radically inclusive," says Moskovitz, who concedes Asana has "a long journey ahead."
