The joy of sharing in the Christmas season
from By Susan Kahn
If a big sister refuses to share her candy bar with her little sister, trouble follows. However, if the big sister ate most of the candy bar and gave the little sister only a bite, the younger girl would still complain. If the older sister had cut the bar into two equal pieces, she would have created a joyful time for both. In that spirit of sharing this Christmas season, it's important to note that teaching students with learning disabilities to share the consonants between two separate vowel sounds helps make the best readers.
