Navy rolls out groundbreaking mobile restaurant vehicle

The Navy officially rolled out a first-of-its-kind Mobile Restaurant Vehicle, an essential restaurant-on-wheels that will serve fleet Sailors and civilians, during a ribbon cutting ceremony aboard Naval Air Station Fallon in Fallon, Nevada, Feb. 9. The MRV, branded the Take 5ive Mobile Bistro by Navy Region Southwest, will employ four culinary specialist Sailors assigned to NAS Fallon's Morale, Welfare and Recreation department to prepare fresh, delectable meals from scratch in the vehicle's fully-equipped kitchen for base customers to enjoy.
