Senneville to tear down old town hall to build new facility
from Montreal Gazette
Senneville is planning to tear down the 90-year-old home that serves as its town hall to make way for a new facility in line with municipal standards for the 21st century. The tiny village's town hall "was originally the fire chief's house," Mayor Jane Guest said. "So it has a long history and it's served us for our needs of the town hall, but we've really outgrown it. We're bursting at the seams, and it's really not a particularly healthy building to be in any more," she said.
