The 2016 KAFP Annual Meeting, "Kansas Grown: Strong, Healthy & Caring" scheduled for June 9 -11, 2016 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Overland Park, welcomes speaker, Nicole Ensminger, Via Christ Health's Human Trafficking Program Manager.
Nicole Ensminger has a great passion for the fight against human trafficking. As Via Christi Health’s Human Trafficking Program Manager, she works to educate healthcare professionals and the public about a crime that happens in communities across the United States. While obtaining her masters in healthcare leadership, Nicole discovered the great need for healthcare professionals to be educated on how to recognize victims of human trafficking and how to safely and effectively provide assistance. She had a vision of creating an education program and an identification assessment tool for healthcare professionals.
