Just months after a daycare opened below the Chinese Cultural Centre's iconic roof, the president of the child-care service says a lack of interest could flatten a venture he hoped would help revitalize the aging community. Abi Paul envisioned building a vibrant community hub for parents and their children, and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars converting empty rooms in the Chinatown cornerstone.
