RV sales projected to be stronger in 2016 thanks to low gas prices, steady economy
from The Elkhart Truth
The RV industry is looking toward to continued growth this year as memories of the Great Recession — and $4-per-gallon gas — slowly fade. The average for gas is currently $1.78, the economy is on stronger ground, and consumer spending is swinging upward. "Last year marked the longest period of sustained growth in the past 50 years," says Frank Hugelmeyer, president of the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association. "The industry has recovered from the recession, and we're looking forward to sustained growth into the future."
