Suburban school bus drivers group sues over wages, overtime
from Chicago Tribune
Some south suburban school bus drivers are suing their employer in federal court over wages and overtime. The class-action lawsuit filed in the Northern District of Illinois court names nine bus drivers from the south suburbs who allege managers at Positive Connections, Inc. in Harvey, and New Jersey-based Student Transportation of America, failed to pay drivers for all regular hours worked and for overtime hours. The lawsuit also alleges drivers were not provided with reimbursements for work expenses that had been agreed to by the company.
