Managing diabetes risk with diet and exercise

Daily activity may be the best medicine for people who have or are at risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. According to a 2014 study released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 12.3 percent of U.S. adults have diabetes. The majority of them have Type 2 diabetes, a condition where your blood sugar, or blood glucose, levels are too high as a result of poor diet, lack of exercise and obesity.
