Bexar County Sheriff's Office testing out Can-Am Spyder to replace motorcycles
from San Antonio Express-News
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office in Texas is about to roll out a new vehicle scheduled for testing through the next year that could put the department's motorcycle deputies on three-wheels. BCSO's first Can-Am Spyder is slated to hit the streets on April 11, and could serve as the replacement for BCSO's current fleet of eight Kawasaki Concours motorcycles, which are up for replacement after three years of service. BCSO Sgt. Augustin Pruneda said the Spyder is being eyed as a safer option for deputies that doesn’t sacrifice the advantages of two-wheeled bikes.
