EPA pressed to act on air pollution plan

Environmental groups are pressuring the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to act on a plan to clean air pollution in Alaska even as the state is working on a new plan. The new plan is supposed to have tougher control measures to curb the toxic particulate pollution that periodically plagues areas of Fairbanks and North Pole during the winter.
