Ambulance company grateful for welding skills

from Wyoming County Press Examiner

Four ag mechanic shop students at Tunkhannock Area High School in Pennsylvania recently performed a "grate" service for the Tunkhannock Community Ambulance Association. Students Dakota Ross, Hunter Vandorick, Sam Pelka, and Jordan Smith used the welding skills they’d developed in Ag Mechanic Shop to create four metal grates, replacing those which had deteriorated in the bays used to house the ambulances. By donating their time and skills, the four students saved Tunkhannock Ambulance a considerable amount of money. more
