Remodeling soars as home ownership dips
from By Michael J. Berens
After a tepid first quarter, the remodeling industry is on course to realize one of its best years in a decade, thanks in part to weakening home sales. Kitchen and bath designers and remodelers should expect to be busy in the months ahead, whichever way the housing winds blow.
